Super slow pace of play

Member since 1999 - Course conditions have slowly deteriated over the past five years. Right now over watered, patchy thin fairways and lots of crabgrass. Slow play due to course not being marshalled.

This is not a course for high handicapers. Strange layout based on hole length/par rating. Balls his out of fairway are usually lost. Beautiful area for a golf course with lots of wild life. Very challenging course even for low handicapers.

This was a very challenging course for me as a high handicapper. You must be fairly accurate or you will be severely penalized. Having said that, the course was beautiful and in great shape. I really enjoyed the round of golf and will definitely play this course again in the future. Very good value for a wonderful layout.

Decided to areate greens one half at a time in March. Will take twice as long for greens to heal. Tight lie fairways and chunky rough. Have played this track for past 10 years. These past three years it has not been in the above average condition it used to be. Uses 7 minute tee time breaks - used to be 10 minute. Stacks groups and causes slow pace of play.

Played in a hi-low net tournament. Pace of play was still good. Even with recently aerated and sanded greens they were very playable. Week days can be played for $38 with cart and range balls. Nearly every hole has lateral hazard on both sides tee to green which can not be entered for environmental reasons, but plenty of room to hit the fairways.

Mis-directed shots are severely penalized both from tee and on approach to greens. Awkward angles on some tee shots and approaches. Very slow, unmarshalled pace of play.

Forced carries over wetlands on 12 of 18 holes. Very punitive to handicaps over 20. Typical Jonny Miller undulating greens, reasonably bunkered. Accuracy off the tee is critical...distance is not.

Pretty good course

Very tight course -- you'll be in trouble if you're not accurate. A couple of the holes are a little quirky. Overall, definitely worth playing at least once though. Just make sure to bring a lot of golf balls.

Tough challenging course. You will lose golf balls if you don't keep it in play. Greens are very fast.
